Duochlorin (25kg container)

Special and ideally suited chlorine for use with Pichler's automatic dosing systems. Due
to the special combination with active chlorine, our duochlorin is better tolerated by the 
skin and less odor than conventional chlorine.

Duochlorin liquid works due to its chem. Composition not chlorinating like chlorine but 
mainly oxidizing. The product breaks down the unwanted substances in water 
(ammonia, urea, uric acid and other amino compounds) known as chlorinated nitrogen 
compounds (chloramines, combined chlorine) in a type of wet combustion into carbon 
dioxide, nitrogen and water. Due to its chemical properties and due to its strong 
oxidation potential, aromatic, organic substances are converted into non-toxic quinones 
or carbons, which results in a strong reduction in trihalomethanes (THM) and the typical 
swimming pool odor is eliminated.
